Next to nothing has been reported about this project since the announcement a year ago that Fox 2000 had purchased the rights to the novel and had hired Richard LaGravanese (P.S. I Love You) to adapt the screenplay with Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) to direct. The only information since then was a report from Variety that Lawrence has been courting Reese Witherspoon to star in the story of the Depression-era traveling circus, but the actress has not committed. Hollywood.com, either with better information than most or by simply jumping the gun, actually lists Reese Witherspoon as part of the Cast of the movie in their database (the only member of the cast) — Stay with vnm magazine we will keep you updated. |
