"Not Afraid" sells 379,000 downloads in its opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the fourth-highest first-week total since download tracking began in 2003.
 
Here's a look at the top five debut sales totals and the corresponding chart dates:

Also opening strongly is 3OH!3 with "My First Kiss," featuring Ke$ha. The title starts at No. 9 on the Hot 100 and No. 4 on Digital Songs (190,000). It's the second time the artists have collaborated on a lofty top 10 debut as 3OH!3 appeared as featured vocalists on Ke$ha's No. 7-debuting "Blah Blah Blah" earlier this year. Ke$ha's own "Your Love Is My Drug" remains at No. 8 on this week's ranking.
 
The Glee Cast places five more entries onto the list, led by "Total Eclipse of the Heart" at No. 16, the third version of that tune to reach the Hot 100. Bonnie Tyler's original spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1983 and Nicki French's up-tempo cover peaked at No. 2 in 1995. The Glee Cast's recording of "Total Eclipse" moves 134,000 downloads, the troupe's second-best sales week ever following its debut release, "Don't Stop Believin'" (177,000), last June.
 
Drake and Young Jeezy claim the remaining top 40 debuts, opening in back-to-back slots, with the former's "Find Your Love" starting at No. 34 and the latter's "Lose My Mind," featuring Plies debuting at No. 35.
 
Turning our attention back to the Hot 100 top 10, Usher's "OMG," featuring will.i.am, is displaced by Eminem to No. 2, but should return to the No. 1 slot  next week as "Not Afraid" will most likely experience normal second-week digital sales erosion. "OMG" does take the Airplay Gainer award for a fourth straight week, improving by 19.7 million listener impressions to 91.6 million.
 
B.o.B's "Nothin' On You" is pushed back 3-4, but does move to the forefront of the Radio Songs list (2-1) with 151 million listener impressions. In addition, the rapper's "Airplanes," which features Eminem & Hayley Williams lifts 7-5, making B.o.B the first artist since Beyonce in 2003 to place his initial two top five singles as a lead vocalist simultaneously in that region of the Hot 100.
 
Rounding out the upper tier recap; Taio Cruz holds "Break Your Heart" in its place at No. 4, Rihanna's "Rude Boy" tumbles 3-6, Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" slips 6-7 and Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" falls 5-10.
